>> Art blog
Messy bunch of reblogs contain e.g. art I find impressive, beautiful or interesting, photography, animals of many sort (especially cats!), overall things I find cute, gaming related posts, tattoos, nail art, and fandoms including Assassin's Creed, Pacific Rim, Shingeki no Kyojin, Disney, Ghibli, Pokémon, Mass Effect and Adventure Time, to name a few. You never know.
I by myself am doing this and that. Art doodles, handcrafts, glass work, cosplay, gaming, roleplaying, list goes on. I'm a young woman in my 20s living in Tampere, Finland, and study in Tampere University of Applied Sciences' Degree Programme in Media (an English interactive media program). My dearest dream in the moment is to own a cat. *u*
It literally says it might make you sweat. Just in a really fancy way. Lol

This is a book store called El Ateneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina! You can have coffee while sitting on the stage. One of my favorite places in my city.
there are balconies where you can sit to read too
and that’s the stage where you can have a coffee :)
In which Moon reanimates a dead thing. Am I a supervillain yet? ||’D
(the top part of the skull is one of my lucky finds at work; the rest is made from more commonplace materials. And I still need to tweak a few timing things, but this here is the gist of it.)
World Scratch Map. A classic world map where the continents are topped with a scratch-off foil surface so you can show off the places you’ve visited.
I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul.
Finally got pictures of the finished Rise from the Ashes shawl! The finished size is nearly as long as our couch. Sorry for the bad lighting, I haven’t been having much luck lately as far as that goes.

Inspector Cabanela from Ghost Trick, fan-sprited in the style of the Ace Attorney games! Drawn from scratch. Made them last year for the Court Records Sprite Cup contest, and got first place. See all of them and the full sprite sheet here, and be sure to check out the other entries, because I had some serious competition!
Because my time was limited, I missed one of his expressions (the serious-looking-forward one) and couldn’t do the twirling animation I wanted to throw in, but I’m glad I was able to do a decent range of emotions.
I also won first place in the 2008 Sprite Cup (boy that’s a long time ago now) with my Neil Marshall fan sprites.
Exhibition: Mika Ninagawa
Viborg Kunsthal, Viborg, Denmark
Jan. 18 - May 4, 2014
Mika Ninagawa’s richly colored photos and movies often focus on magnifying details in extreme close-ups that provide an almost abstract image of reality. The particularly eye-catching aesthetics are kitsch in its exaggeration, but also poetic in its gentle and evocative images.
In a unique style, artist mixes a surreal universe with attractive visuals from the popular culture. For example by reference to older, Japanese geisha traditions and neoclassical films like “Kill Bill”. Both play with staging of sex, violence, weapons and beauty. In this manner, the works represent a special style that is particularly popular among Japan’s youth, but also within a wide international audience.
Mika Ninagawa (b. 1972) lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. She exhibited at Kunsthaus Graz, Austria; Centre National d’Art Contemporain, Grenoble, France; Mori Tower and Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, Japan, amongst many other places.
