>> Art blog
Messy bunch of reblogs contain e.g. art I find impressive, beautiful or interesting, photography, animals of many sort (especially cats!), overall things I find cute, gaming related posts, tattoos, nail art, and fandoms including Assassin's Creed, Pacific Rim, Shingeki no Kyojin, Disney, Ghibli, Pokémon, Mass Effect and Adventure Time, to name a few. You never know.
I by myself am doing this and that. Art doodles, handcrafts, glass work, cosplay, gaming, roleplaying, list goes on. I'm a young woman in my 20s living in Finland, Tampere, and study in Tampere University of Applied Sciences' Degree Programme in Media (an English interactive media program). My dearest dream in the moment is to own a cat. *u*

Final Fantasy XIII → Oerba Yun Fang;
Square Enix released a new CGI render of Tidus and Yuna to commemorate Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster. The render is based on artwork by character designer Tetsuya Nomura that was used to promote Final Fantasy X, when it first released in Japan 12 years ago in 2001.
Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will be available in Japan on December 26, 2013 for Playstation 3 as a bundle, and sold separately on Playstation Vita. It will be available in North America and Europe early 2014.
Lightning Garb : SOLDIER First Class
FF Dissidia 012 Ladies
This character, in the original game, had a pretty decent design. Now, in the sequels, she’s dressed in things like this (though there are many outfits and by no means have they all been revealed), and has some pretty horrible poses as well. Not to mention the camera angles.
My reaction is… disappointment, mostly. And disgust. And irritation. She was originally a fairly strong character but now look what they’ve done.
You’ve already had the napkin-skirt one on this blog but these outfits are getting ridiculous.
There are so many things wrong with these that it’s probably not even worth the effort to list them all.
To put it mildly I am extraordinarily skeeved. On one hand not every outfit is quite this ridiculous and it’s still up to the player what to dress her in. Unhappy as I am that some of the outfits are basically lingerie, at least you (probably) have the choice to never see her in it. On the other hand, combined with the animations, its a betrayal of her character for the titillation of [some of] the audience. And you all know how I feel about that.
Also from what I’ve seen, a few of the outfits are just ugly and broken. If you recall the question I posed a while back about value of customization vs. quality of customization options, well, I’m of a mind that if the cost of more options is a lower quality for each then I’ll take fewer options. So… bad times all around.
Q: Is it true you said you wanted Lightning-san’s size from a C cup to a D cup?
Nobuhiro Goto (Character Modeling Designer): Toriyama-san said “I want it bigger” so…
Motomu Toriyama (Director): [What a] cop-out! (laughs)
Goto: Yes, it was enlarged.
Q: Was it a C cup until now? Does it even jiggle this time?
Toriyama: it’s determined by clothing, like the so-called corrective underwear. (laughs)
Masaru Suzuki (Designer): There’s an unreleased costume that exposes the l’Cie scar on her chest. Please think [carefully], is there any other information that should be disclosed? (laughs)
Q: So there were costumes that were rejected?
Goto: I think there are a few designs that were rejected.
Suzuki: If reproducing the outfit proves to be difficult, then I’ll consult with the artwork designer as much as possible, but if the costume design slows down to a crawl, it gets scrapped.
Q: I heard that the chest Jiggles?
Goto: Yes, her chest jiggles. Since everyone can decide what costume she’ll wear, you can make sure it does (laughs). By the way, Since Lightning swings her arm when you change her weapon in the menu screen, that’s a recommended action for sure-fire jiggling! To see it even better it could be useful to equip a small shield. Look forward to it!
The development team for Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns has just completely destroyed all interest I had in the game.
I am very very upset right now.
For those wondering, these quotes are from a Q&A session at an event in Tokyo.
Source for this info, tho everything about the site’s reporting on this disgusts me.
Sephiroth didn’t kill Aerith.
Sephiroth impaled her through a region of the body that doesn’t completely destroy vital organs (at most damage to the liver/ and large intestine)
Also no blood is lost in the scene so no major blood vessels are damaged.
Her spine was severed at a point where the brain still functions to control the heart and lungs, however it paralyses her in the legs and abdomen (which is why she slumps over)
Do to immense pain and swelling of blood vessels do to being impaled, she falls unconscious though still alive.
When laid to a watery rest she immediately sinks (but dead bodies float) Implying body muscle tension is disrupting buoyancy.
Cloud drowned Aerith.
Oh, if I only could look this good…
i love videgoames
